We congratulate Ms. Rangu Souriya for being awarded the "Extraordinary and Inspirational Woman" at Manthan broadband award of 10 extraordinary women Kolkata (22/10/2016)
Not many may have heard the name Rangu Souria, but to over 600 children and youth she has helped to rescue from traffickers, brothels and bonded labour – through her Siliguri based organization Kanchanjunga Uddhar Kendra – she is nothing less than an Angel – their Guardian Angel.
Her dedication towards our society, and her tireless and fearless fight against human trafficking, and unparalleled work of courage makes her not only an ICON, but a standout ROLE MODEL for every person not only in Darjeeling region, but also across India and the rest of the World.
