West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will inaugurate India’s first 10 MW Canal Bank Solar PV Plant today during an administrative review meeting at Chopra, North Dinajpur. The project, which has been successfully implemented by WBSEDCL, incurred a cost of Rs 65.88 lakh.
Chief minister Mamata Banerjee arrived at Bagdogra airport Monday afternoon for a three-day tour of north Bengal. She proceeded straight towards Sukuna Guest House.
Today’s meeting is a crucial one as she will take stock of three districts at a time.
Like all other administrative review meetings, the Chief Minister will be discussing on the present status of progress of different projects and at the same time the projects those will be taken up for an overall development of the districts will also be discussed.
