Kadamtala Nepali High school authorities have come under the glare of local Panchayt Member Abhiraj Subba, who has accused the school authorities led by Head Master Chhitra Bahadur Chhetri of compromising with the safety and security of its students.
Corresponding with TheDC, Mr. Abhiraj said, "the School management fails to lock school Gate which helps anti-social element to enter and execute their criminal activities. I being President of Kadamtala Nepali Primary school Management committee opposed this type of activity by High school Management."
He added, "All the gate keys are with them, yet they don't bother to lock up the school, this allows for drug pushers and other criminals to enter the school premises freely... this puts our children at risk."
Yesterday being Sunday, the school authorities could not be reached for comments.
